Mark & Rosemary Wailea Elopement photographed by Colleen's Captures
Before I photography my clients elopements I ask them to tell me, their wedding photographer, a little bit about themselves and anything that they would like me know for their wedding day.
Rosemary responded with "We are looking forward to having you capture our day. I am especially excited to see how you will incorporate the beauty of Maui. We have never been to Hawaii or had a professional photoshoot so we are really looking forward to having these.
It will just be us two - a couple who enjoys the simplicity of living our lives together and throwing in adventures here and there. We love making each other laugh and you can always find me hanging onto Mark’s arm. Mark is a smooth talker with good jokes and I can dish out equally (if not better) banter. He says I have a great natural smile, but I always have a hard time replicating it. Hopefully you can catch it in candid shots. Mark has a great head of hair and my fingers always find their way there. You’ll probably catch me all starry eyed and Mark is most likely to cry.
Some logistical information - Mark’s good side would be his left, I also have my hair parted to the left so I’m typically on his right side in photos.
Let us know if you have any questions!
Looking forward to meeting you,
Mark&Rosemary "
With only a single hour with the couple before the sunset I set out to capture their love, let me know in the comments if you think I captured that intimate part of them!
The Maui officiant, Lisa was extremely thoughtful and brought a handful of avocados from her backyard to give to everyone. As you can tell from Mark and Rosemarys delighted faces this was all they "AVO" wanted and more for their Hawaii Wedding ceremony on the Beach.
